Health Education, Advocacy and Prevention ProgramSisterLove's Health Education, Advocacy and Prevention (HEAP) Program is a collection of sexually transmitted infection and HIV/AIDS education, prevention, intervention and training services targeting African American women and their families through group level interventions, individual level interventions, community and media outreach, program evaluation studies and research, and collaborations for HIV testing, microbicides development, vaccine awareness, and clinical trials access.
Bridge Leadership ProgramSisterLove's Bridge Leadership Program (BLP) a deliberate effort to integrate the many issues that intersect at the junction of HIV/AIDS, sexual and reproductive health, and human rights through organizational relationship building and shared activities. These efforts include: a) curriculum development and teaching on college campuses; b) national coalition building with Sister Song Women of Color Reproductive Health Collective; and c) numerous collaborations and partnerships.
International Programs - SisterLove, South AfricaInternational Programs: an array of structured efforts forming alliances and partnerships with sister organizations in Africa and throughout the African Diaspora. An exciting and landmark effort involves SisterLove providing capacity building programming to rural non-governmental AIDS service organizations in South Africa.
Positive Connections CyberCenterSisterLove's Positive Connections CyberCenter provides women living with HIV and their families access to internet-capable computers to access online information about HIV/AIDS and other resources that increase their quality of life, increase their knowledge of computing and support their participation in communities and activities that advocate on behalf of women affected by, and living with, HIV/AIDS. SisterLove's Positive Connections CyberCenter is open Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays from aproximately 10:00am to 4:30pm.
